Generally, it’s not a secret that one of the healthiest foods we can find out in nature are avocados, especially their oil, which tends to contain around 77% of the fruit’s overall caloric composition.

Avocados are tasty and healthy, and so is the oil – therefore, I will provide you with a few recipes so you too can start including this delight in your diet.

3 Unique Avocado Oil Recipes for Home
1. Pan-roasted Sea-Bass with Citrus and Avocado Oil Recipe
Serves: 4 people
- 2 Oranges
- 2 Pink Grapefruits
- Salt + Pepper
- 4 Skinless Fillets of White Sea Bass
- 4 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
- 1 Avocado (cut in wedges)
- 1 Tablespoon Grape seed Oil or Olive Oil
Take the oranges and grapefruits, peel and cut into segments, trying to remove as much of the membrane as possible. Add these fruits into a medium sized bowl and season with a little salt and pepper.
Take a skillet, add grape seed oil and put over high heat. Season fish with salt and pepper and place in the skillet. Cook on one side until fish is golden brown for approximately 4-5 minutes, then turn fish over and place in the oven at 220ºC for another 3-5 minutes.
Mix fruit with avocado wedges and serve on plates, to then be topped with the SeaBass and drizzled with avocado oil, for that extra kick of flavour.

2. Avocado Oil Pesto Chicken Recipe

Serves: 6 People
- 7 Tablespoons of Chopped Cilantro (Coriander)
- 4 Cloves of Crushed Garlic
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Cup of Avocado Oil
- 1/4 cup of Peanuts (optional)
- 6 pieces of Chicken Breast
Add juice of half a lemon, crushed garlic, chopped cilantro and peanuts to a food processor until all ingredients are combined. Once this is done slowly drizzle in the avocado oil (whilst turned on). Pour this combination over and under the chicken and place the other half of the lemon in slices around the chicken. Place chicken in oven and back for 1 hour at 190ºC.

3. Mediterranean Vegado
Serves: 4 People
- 1 or 2 Courgettes
- 3 Bell Peppers (can be red, green or yellow)
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Medium-sized potatoes
- Avocado Oil
- Salt & Pepper
It can’t get much easier than this, yet the flavour is all there! Chop all vegetables into large chunks and place in a roasting pan. Drizzle generously with avocado oil and a touch of salt and pepper, and it’s ready to go in the oven for approximately 1 hour at 150ºC.
